Clara Lenherr


MRes/PhD rotation student


Clara studied for her undergraduate at in Neuroscience at KCL before undertaking an MSc at University of Edinburgh. She then returned to KCL for her PhD as part of the MRC Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CNDD) program. During her MRes rotations, she worked in the Cooke lab on how sleep contributes to the consolidation of  long-term visual cortical habituation. She subsequently joined the Burrone lab for her PhD project, where she has worked on the development and homeostatic role of Chandelier inhibitory neurons in the neocortex. She has continued to contribute to the Cooke lab as a graduate teaching assistant on our second year undergraduate Electrophysiology module.
